Hello.

I am Nayeem. I study, work, and conduct independent research in education. My academic inquiries centre on the sociological and philosophical foundations of learning. I look specifically at decolonisation and equity to understand what genuine social justice looks like in practice. I also write fiction and essays. I am not a professional author, at least not yet. Storytelling is just my way of making sense of the world and documenting the ordinary moments of human life.

Making my mark

Education

As education is both my academic discipline and my daily profession, my work naturally bridges the gap between policy and the reality on the ground. I believe that grand theories of learning mean very little if they do not translate into fair, everyday access for everyone. It is the practice, not just the philosophy, that truly opens doors.

Research

In my academic life, I look deeply into the sociology and philosophy of education. I am fascinated by the invisible structures that decide who gets to learn and who is left behind. My research is an attempt to map out how our social realities dictate educational fate, and to question the quiet mechanisms that control justice and knowledge.

Writing

At my core, storytelling is simply how I make sense of the world. Whether I am writing a piece of fiction or a quiet essay, putting words on paper is my way of catching the fleeting, fragile human moments that exist just beneath the heavy weight of our social structures.
