Research

Research Interest

In my research, I explore how societal factors shape education, particularly in relation to decolonisation, democratisation, and critical pedagogy. I use qualitative methods to understand how neo-colonialism and social capital affect students and higher education. My goal is to contribute to a deeper understanding of educational inequalities and to advocate for more equitable educational practices.

Current Projects

My current projects are centred on critical issues in education. These include a study on the impact of the July Uprising on higher education, a separate project examining educational challenges within the Rohingya context, and ongoing research into decolonisation in a global context.
